Applications for the2023 Gottlieb Foundation Individual Support Grantare now open. The deadline for submitting applications is January 18, 2023.
TheGottlieb Foundationwants to encourage mid-career and older artists who have invested 20 years or more developing their art. Twenty grants of $25,000 each will be awarded for 2023. Applications are reviewed by a panel of five professional artists and scholars who have no affiliation with the foundation.

This program will only consider artists who work in the disciplines of painting, sculpture, or printmaking. In addition to the maturity requirement, eligibility for an Individual Support Grant is determined based on the applicant’s current financial need.
